The Spinosaurus was the largest carnivorous dinosaur growing up to 60 Feet long and weighin up to 23 tons! It was larger than the T.Rex and Giganotosaurus. Spinosaurus meaning "Spine Lizard" had a spine runnung along its back that grew to 7 feet tall. It is beleived to have been mainly an aquatic dinosaur preying on large sawfish, sharks and whales. They had varying sized teeth in their mouth making it difficult to estimate a size of the dinosaur that the fossilized tooth came from. The specimen shown here has a nice dark red enamel and measures 3" long. It also contains a large section of the tooth root which is an uncommon finding amongst dinosaur teeth.
